About Us
After decades of navigating the fast-paced world of technology, I realized it was time to hit paws and reconnect with what truly brings me joy: family, community, and, of course, cats. Returning to my roots to care for my aging parents also rekindled a renewed appreciation for the deeper joys in life, like the unwavering love of family, cherished friendships, and the lifelong companionship of pets—especially my beloved cats.
In the quiet moments at home, I found my greatest contentment—curled up with a cat on my lap, their purring a gentle reminder of life’s simple pleasures. This realization inspired the creation of The Greenwich Cat, a space dedicated to celebrating the joy, elegance, and occasional mischief of cats.
The Origins
Initially, I started offering cat sitting and house-watching services for busy professionals and frequent travelers in the Greenwich and Stamford, CT area. I know firsthand how challenging it can be to find someone dependable to care for your cats—someone who truly understands their needs and quirks. As someone who’s balanced a demanding career with a love of travel, I’ve been in your shoes.
